File Formats
All submissions that are print and production ready for screen printing and most ad specialties will need to be vector artwork. (Read more about what a vector image is here) AI, EPS, SVG, and (editable) Adobe PDFs are common formats of vector files. Embroidery Artwork must be digitized. Direct to garment images should be a vector OR a high resolution raster image (at least 300ppi) on a transparent background. We cannot guarantee DTG colors when a raster image is provided.
Text and Fonts
Please include font names or preserved text with/in all file types. Adobe PDFs and AI files sometimes need to have outlined text to preserve its appearance. Outlining text turns each letter into an outlined shape rather than a line of text. (See the "A" selected above as an individual object) Also please be sure to spell check your artwork before text is converted to outlines! If text is outlined, please be sure to include font names with your submission as they cannot be retrieved directly from the text once fonts are outlined.

Spot Color Separation
For Screen printing and most ad specialties, artwork will need to be color separated and converted to spot colors. This allows for a higher rate of consistency during the screen creation process. Direct to garment images do not need to be color separated, however some white balance and color correction may need to be done in shop before printing. Although not necessary, color separated DTG vector images provide the highest rate of flexibility and adaptability with your artwork.
SizingAll production ready artwork should be sized correctly to the appropriate imprint area. If you do not know the imprint area of your products a customer service representative or our graphic artists can assist you!

Underlay
When printing on dark and some medium colored garments an underlay (primer) base is needed. Often times, artwork must be created separately (or on a different layer) than the main design to create a properly functioning underlay. Direct to garment images do not need an underlay created digitally. However darker DTG shirts need to be pre-treated and will cost an additional fee.
Registration
Artwork for screen printing should have registration (or target) marks indicating the center of the image. This ensures that your image is printed correctly onto the garment. (We can add registration marks for you at no additional charge!) Registration for DTG, Embroidery and Ad Specialties are done through software for each device, so they do not require registration marks!
